The Recognition and Appreciation Continues! ~
Q and A - with - Dos Gringos
Q: With whom are you communicating and recognizing?
A: As most of you know we have an assembly and grading facility in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico. Our Gringo South team worked very hard during the Mother’s Day rush, so we continued our Town Hall recognition and appreciation lunches with them last week.
Q: That’s cool. Where is Valle de Guadalupe and why did you pick that location? A: “Valle” is actually the wine-growing region of northern Mexico. (Picture Napa Valley one hundred years ago.) We chose this beautiful region as it is close to Ensenada and many of our growing regions.
Q: Remind me again…How long ago did you open this facility?
A: We started this facility with 12 people 3 and a half years ago and now we have 155 team members there.
Q: Very cool. How did you recognize and appreciate the Gringo South team?
A: In much the same manner as the Gringo North team. We hand out award shirts to teammates who have been with us for at least a year. Next, we recognize the Gringo Stars (these are team members who went above and beyond during the Spring Season.) Then we select the best of the best in the Star category and award the Gringo Gold Award. Of course, then we all enjoy a wonderful, catered Mexican style lunch (lots of yummy food.)

This facility is close to the ocean so the ceviche and fish tacos are as good as it gets.

Gotta have a cake right!?
