Q: Last week you dialed us in about Why Sunflowers. I’m guessing this week you’re going to tell us why Dos Gringos Sunflowers?

A: You are so perceptive. It’s tough for us to toot our own horn and yet I think it’s important to communicate why we’re different. I don’t like to use the word Better or Worse. I like the word Different. We have some great competitors out there that keep us on our toes and push us to be better.

Q: So, what makes you different?

A: I think the biggest thing is that we are the only cut flower grower in the industry who’s dedicated 25 years specifically to The Sunflower. We aren’t your rose people or your carnation people or your alstroemeria people, we are your sunflower people. Sunflowers are our passion and what we are committed to trying to be the best in the world at growing and designing with.

Q: Tell us more.

A: For one thing, because it’s our life’s work, we are relentless about making sure you have the absolute best quality day in and day out. To us quality doesn’t just mean meeting spec. To us it means exceeding spec. It also means getting as close as Mother nature allows to fill your orders 100%, 365 days a year.

Q: Great points and things that are all super important to us. Anything else you want to mention?

A. Lot’s more, but I won’t bore you with Everything. One big factor I’ll finish with is controlling the process as much as we can from seed to shelf. This means vertical integration as much as humanly possible.

Q: That makes sense. Final thoughts for this edition?

A: I’ll leave you with a few things below to better explain our difference.

We are Vertically Integrated to Do Everything in our Power to control quality.
